Giveamanakick The Bucket
The HP-approved Limerick duo are sadly calling it a day.
First Bobby Robson and now giveamanakick! Yup, the black armbands are staying on at HP Central as the incendiary Limerick duo decide to call it a day.
“In the seven odd years of this band's existence, we have travelled the world playing gigs, played with some of our all-time favourite bands, and have released three albums and various singles of our music,” Steve and Keith reflect. “We are very proud of what we have achieved with giveamanakick. giveamanakick was always meant to make a certain kind of impact. We feel we've made that impact now, and are both happy to move on. Along the way, we’ve made some excellent friends, and need to thank everybody who has helped in any respect. There are loads of you out there, so, thank you all so much! Thank you to everybody who's supported us, come to our gigs, talked to us after shows, e-mailed us with kind messages, listened to our music, and for being a fan of giveamanakick. All of you people have made it an absolute pleasure to be in this band.”
You can say goodbye to them at Cyprus Avenue, Cork (November 14); Whelan’s, Dublin (20); Roisin Dubh, Galway (28); and Dolan’s, Limerick (December 18), which promises to be one hell of a pre-Christmas party!
