Fun Lovin’ Criminals Ireland-bound
Returned to dry land after recording their new album on a yacht, Huey and his cohorts have confirmed live dates in Ireland
Not content with starring in Shimmy Marcus’ Headrush, Huey Morgan goes back to the day job when the Fun Lovin’ Criminals play Vicar St., Dublin (September 10) and the Mandela Hall, Belfast (11).
Ahead of that comes the July 18 release of Livin’ In The City, the band’s fifth studio album which was purportedly recorded on a 40ft yacht anchored in New York’s Hudson River.
Tracks include ‘I Love Livin’ In The City’, ‘How It Be’, ‘That Ain’t Right’, ‘The Preacher’, ‘Where Do I Begin’, ‘Is Ya Alright’, ‘Gave Up On God’, ‘City Boy’, ‘Girl With The Scar’, ‘Will I Be Ready’ and the flagship single, ‘Mi Corazon”.
Described by Huey as “a loosely-based autobiographical story about a girl that I loved who don’t love me no more”, it’s the first fruits of FLC’s new deal with Sanctuary.
