Forbidden Fruit Festival 2026: Kaytranada, Kettama, and more announced
The festival will be held on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, on the grounds of Royal Hospital Kilmainham.
Forbidden Fruit Festival has announced its 2026 headliners, including Kaytranada, Kettama, Nia Archives, and Joy Crookes.
The festival, which specialises in alternative, electronic, and hip-hop sounds, will return for its 14th year this May. It'll be held on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham in Dublin 8 on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31.
Kaytranada, who made his Irish debut at the Forbidden Fruit Night afterparty in 2013, will return to the festival's stage as its biggest name.
The Canadian DJ and producer has two Grammy Awards under his belt, one for Best Dance/Electronic Album (Bubba) and another for Best Dance Recording ('10% featuring Kali Uchis'). He last played Dublin in 2023 when he opened for the Weeknd at Marlay Park.
Known for her eclectic beats, Nia Archives last played an Irish festival when she appeared at Electric Picnic in 2023. We rated her LP Silence Is Loud as one of our top Dance and Electronic Albums of 2024.
Joy Crookes will bring her signature soul sound to the festival. Her sophomore album Juniper received a rave review from Hot Press's Chloe Craft.
Galway-born DJ Kettama (real name Evan Campbell) stands as the sole Irish headliner for the festival. He debuted at no. 6 on the Irish Album Chart with Archangel last October.
Other Irish acts on the lineup include Bricknasty, house producer Shee, and singer-songwriter MOIO.
Rounding out this year's Forbidden Fruit Festival performers are ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, Interplanetary Criminal, Sally C, MPH, horsegiirL, and Zulan.
Last year's lineup for the festival included Jamie xx, Peggy Gou, Caribou, and Fckers.
Presale for the festival will begin this Thursday, February 12, at 9 am. General onsale will begin Friday, February 13, at 9am.
