Foo Fighters share Times Like Those documentary to mark 25th anniversary
Their planned “world-domination itinerary” to mark their 25th anniversary as a band was scrapped due to coronavirus this year, but Foo Fighters have managed to mark a momentous career milestone this year with a hilarious new 30-minute documentary called 'Times Like Those'.
Foo Fighters have shared a throwback 30-minute documentary reflecting on their 25 years in total as a band, titled Times Like Those.
The video premiered on YouTube today (November 23), and shows the band siting down popcorn to discuss their legendary career.
The rock outfit discuss everything from their first official show in Seattle to the time they stumbled upon a teenage Icelandic punk band practicing in a basement in 2003, and asking them to open the band’s headline show in the country the following night.
“I was writing ‘My Hero’ about myself,” Dave Grohl laughs at a picture of him playing acoustic guitar on a private jet in 2003.
The ridiculously entertaining short film sees Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Taylor Hawkins, Chris Shiflett and Rami Jaffee sit back and enjoy the nostalgic trip through time on the big screen in front of them.
Foo Fighters recently released new track 'Shame, Shame'- which will appear on their just-announced album Medicine at Midnight.
Their new full-length LP is scheduled for release on February 5, 2021 via Roswell Records/RCA.
