Foals announce new album release
August will see the arrival of What Went Down
Last week, Foals released a teaser video. We had no earthly idea what they were teasing.
Now, we do; though their latest clip doesn't shed a tremendous amount of light on what's coming round the corner, the announcement was made loud and clear; a new album arrives in August.
What Went Down will be preceded by the title track, which hits airwaves next week, debuting on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show.
James Ford of Simian Mobile Disco assumed production duties for the five-piece's latest full-length effort, which looks set to be a raucous ten track affair. “I wanted to tap into my inner madman and feel like I was channeling some sort of fevered creature," says frontman Yannis Philippakis.
August 18 is the date for your diary - get a tiny (and we mean tiny) flavour of what to expect below.
