Foals
Not a guy with a camp, talking car, but a Dublin based three piece that specialise in mellow indie-pop. There’s a touch of Belle And Sebastian to ‘Foals’, the first single lifted from their forthcoming album, particularly in Richie Murphy’s understated and polite vocal.

There’s a touch of Belle And Sebastian to ‘Foals’, the first single lifted from their forthcoming album, particularly in Richie Murphy’s understated and polite vocal. The problem with ‘Foals’ is it’s slightly one dimensional and, though a nice bass line patters throughout, there’s nothing here to give the tune that final lift, or to shift it in a direction away from becoming tedious.
