Flavor Flav fights the power...and loses
He might be the most famous hype man in the business, but this weekend the Public Enemy member found that 911 is not a joke after all.
The rapper-turned-reality TV star, real name William Drayton, was celebrating Independence Day with a monstrous fireworks display, attended by some 110 friends (a smaller crowd that usual, according to the host).
Last year, the July 4 party was called off after TMZ had publicised his plans, drawing the attention of local law enforcement.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that this year's party quickly went the same direction; shortly after beginning, neighbours called the police, who promptly arrived at the party and Shut It Down.
Police Lt. Ken Romaine said officers confiscated 100 pounds of unused fireworks, issuing two citations.
