Exclusive: Laura Izibor To Star in One Tree Hill
The shows writers have devised a special part just for the musician
In a Hot Press exclusive, we can reveal that the makers of hit US TV show, One Tree Hill, have written a special part for Irish musician Laura Izibor.
Laura will play the role of an Irish singer-songwriter on the show and will also sing the theme song for a special episode.
Laura is currently filming the episodes while also recording her second album, due for release in early 2011.
The news tops a great year for Izibor, one which saw her debut album, Let The Truth Be Told, reach number two in the Irish charts and attend the St. Patrick's Day celebrations in The White House.
It's not Laura's first role on American TV, of course, having previously guest starred in Bones.
The new series of One Tree Hill will air in America in November.
