Exciting additions to Electric Picnic 2011
Bob Geldof, Republic of Loose, Rubberbandits and Underworld have been added to the bill for the festival on September 2 – 4.
Top international acts like M.Ward, I Am Kloot, Foster The People, The Black Angels, Mercury-nominated Everything Everything, Niki & The Dove, and The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart have also been added to the roster.
They will be joined by more home-grown acts such as Sharon Corr, Ghost Estates and Donal Dineen’s Parish.
Geldof will perform songs from his back catalogue including memorable Boomtown Rats hits, while Rubberbandits are back at Electric Picnic fresh from wowing crowds at Oxegen.
The new additions join a stellar line-up of acts including Arcade Fire, The Chemical Brothers and Interpol.
