Ex-Whipping Boy's band to support Alphastates gig
Fergal McKee's new outfit Novacon will open for Alphastates in the Temple Bar Music Centre.
Having changed the name of his new combo from The Miracles to Novacon, September 17 finds Fergal McKee opening for Alphastates in Dublin's Temple Bar Music Centre.
As lead singer with the mighty Whipping Boy McKee should have been as big as Bono, but something went wrong along the way and the band split amongst public indifference.
The word on the A&R grapevine is that with an album's worth of killer material in the can, he's about to get a second bite at the cherry.
