Elvis Presley 50 Years '68 Comeback Special event to screen in Ireland
Priscilla Presley is appearing on screen as part of the global August 16 cinema extravaganza.
Elvis Presley fans are in for a treat on August 16 as Priscilla Presley and producer Steve Binder appear on screen as part of the 50 Years ’68 Comeback Special cinema event.
The Light House, Rathmines Omniplex and Liffey Valley Vue are the Dublin picture houses involved with additional screenings in Belfast, Larne, Craigavon, Banbridge, Newry, Dundalk, Sligo, Arklow and Gorey. See en.fathomrocks.com for full details of the screenings.
The original 1968 TV show marked Elvis’ return to live performance after a seven year break, and included the first public airings of ‘A Little Less Conversation’ and ‘If I Can Dream’.
The various costumes he donned included the black leather suit that launched a thousand impersonations.
