Ella Henderson tops the Irish singles chart
X-Factor star sees success with 'Ghost'.
This week marks an intense shake up in the top ten Irish singles. Not a single spot remained constant, as the race for the summer defining song becomes even more competitive.
Coming in with the top spot is Ella Henderson's 'Ghost', rising from second place to claim this week's title. Capitalizing upon her success from the X-Factor to launch her career, things are looking good for Henderson as she readies her debut album.
Following Henderson is John Legend's 'All of Me', a heartfelt song that has brought the singer an incredible amount of success, maintaining a strong presence on the charts after 22 weeks.
Third place is taken by 5 Seconds of Summer's 'Don't Stop'. The Australian boy band has built a comparison to One Direction and a massive following as despite tumbling from the top spot, the buzz for their July debut is sky high.
Sam Smith's 'Stay With Me' grabbed the fourth spot, rising two spots from number six. The English singer's success has seemed to translate across the Atlantic, with his album In the Lonely Hour making a second place debut in the United States.
Wrapping up the top five is Mr. Probz, as his international smash 'Waves' regains its presence in the top half after rising from number seven.
The second half of the top ten is made up of what has become some of the regulars in the countdown. Sixth place is French duo Klingande's 'Jubel', falling from fifth place in its fifth week on the countdown. Following is Ed Sheeran's 'Sing', which took the biggest drop of the week, falling four spots from number three. Wrapping up the top ten is Coldplay's 'A Sky Full of Stars', Jason Derulo and Snoop Dogg's collaboration 'Wiggle' and Calvin Harris' 'Summer'.
