El Hombre Jokes - Dublin and Cork shows
There's a new EP in the works too..
Dublin band El Hombre Jokes will play two live dates this week. Tonight they'll perform in the intimate setting of Bewley's Café on Grafton Street, then head south tomorrow for a show in Cork's Crane Lane.
The band, hailed as "definitely one to watch" by Hot Press' Jackie Hayden, will release an EP this spring, and if last year's double A-Side 'Suicide Bomber / Something’s Got to Give' is anything to go by, it'll be a stormer. That release earned the boys a sell-out show in Dublin’s Crawdaddy, as well as a No. 2, week-one entry on the iTunes Rock Chart.
