Ed Sheeran stands tall on top of Irish Singles Chart

Already making quite the dent in the 'first dance at a wedding' stakes, Ed Sheeran's thoughtful 'Thinking Out Loud' reigns supreme as this week's #1 in the Irish Singles Chart, having climbed to knock Meghan Traynor's divisive 'All About That Bass' down to second place.

Straight in at number one on the Irish Album Charts, Taylor Swift has to settle for the bronze medal in the Singles arena this week as the uber-infectious 'Shake It Off' holds firm at #3. The Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj mega-hit that is 'Bang Bang' remains at #4 while G.R.L. move up one to #5 with 'Ugly Heart'.
