Ed Sheeran Scoops Main Prize At Billboard Music Awards 2018

On the night, Ed Sheeran faced some very strong competition: Drake, Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift and Kendrick Lamar were all nominated for the Top Artist award at last night's Billboard Music Awards.

It was a great night for Sheeran, who also took home the Best Male artist gong. While Taylor Swift saw off Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Halsey and Demi Lovato for the Best Female artist.
The Top Group/Duo prize went to Imagine Dragons.
Bruno Mars won both the Top R&B and R&B Male Artist prizes, with SZA taking home the Top Female R&B artist award.
Kendrick Lamar won both the Top Rap Artist and Top Rap Male, while Cardi B was the winner of the Top Rap Female artist award.
Janet Jackson received the Icon Award and gave her first TV performance in nine years.
