Duke Special set for Dublin and Belfast shows
His Under The Dark Cloth album is due out this Halloween.
Duke Special has confirmed Under The Dark Cloth shows in the Waterfront, Belfast (October 31) and Sugar Club, Dublin (November 16) with special guest Tom Southern.
A huge hit when performed last year at the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the Duke’s latest flight of musical fancy is based on the photographs of Alfred Stieglitz, Edward Steichen and Paul Strand and features additional songwriting input from Boo Hewerdine and Pádraig Ó Tuama.
October 31 also sees the release of an Under The Dark Cloth album the Special one is about to record with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. Another collection of songs is due in March 2012. Busy man!
