The 11th International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival is currently running with the message: "It's for everyone!"
Presenting 27 plays between two week-long programmes of music, theatre, cabaret, comedy and more, the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival is with us once again.
Running until May 18, it is the world’s largest celebration of gay theatre, with a strong emphasis on new or recent international and Irish works with a broadly gay theme or relevance. The 2014 programme boasts the highest Irish entry in years – expect productions dealing with everything from 1916 and Margaret Thatcher to gay marriage and '80s music. Meanwhile, matinee showings of Aunty Ben in the Teacher's Club are child friendly, making for a totally inclusive two weeks of creativity and entertainment.
Tickets for shows can be booked online (with no booking fees!) on [link]www.gaytheatre.ie[/link] or purchased in person at the The Arlington, Temple Bar, from noon to 3pm daily.
