Irish animators be advised (and excited): the Dublin Animation Film Festival is now taking entries!
The festival, only in its fifth year, has grown from a low-key operation in Blackrock to a two day celebration in the Pavilion Theatre in Dún Laoghaire and the Dún Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology. Last year, the festival received over 200 entries, up from 45 in its first year, 2011.

The festival will include workshops, lectures, awards, and of course, screenings over October 16 and 17. Certainly an exciting time for up and coming filmmakers with an interest in animation. Find more information here!
