Dove Ellis announces Dublin show
The show follows the release of Ellis’ critically acclaimed debut album Blizzard.
Dove Ellis has announced a Dublin show at the Workman’s Club on May 18.
He also announced shows in Manchester, Los Angeles, and New York City.
Ellis first came to prominence after music he posted to Instagram and SoundCloud gained enormous popularity, to the point that he was selling out live shows before the release of his first single, ‘Adonis’ (which he has since taken down). Since then, Ellis has drawn comparisons to Cameron Winter, Jeff Buckley, and Thom Yorke, and opened for Geese on their Getting Killed tour.
The announcement of the shows follows the release of Ellis’ first album, Blizzard, in December, which showcased “a vast sea of styles”, from classic rock to acoustic folk-y ballads.
Blizzard’s late-in-the-year release meant that the album was not featured in many end of 2025 roundups, but, as it gained critical acclaim, Ellis was soon added to a number of ones-to-watch features going into 2026.
Ellis was profiled in last month’s issue of Hot Press as part of our Hot for 2026 lineup.
Elsewhere, Ellis is set to be featured on the upcoming War Child LP HELP (2).
Tickets for all four shows go live Friday.
