Deep Purple for Belfast
Classic rock legends Deep Purple have announced a Belfast date at Customs House Square on Monday June 28.
Alongside Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, the Purple were pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock. They also incorporated classical music, blues-rock, pop and progressive rock elements in their epic recordings and stage shows. They were once listed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's loudest band, and have sold over 100 million albums worldwide.
Deep Purple were also ranked #22 on VH1's Greatest Artists of Hard Rock programme. The current line up includes original members Ian Gillan, Roger Glover and Ian Paice. Full supporting bill to be announced in due course.
