Dec Pierce announces new Dublin headline show

DJ Dec Pierce has announced a show at 3Olympia Theatre, Dublin on Sunday, December 14, as part of his Block Rockin Beats tour.

Following his June Fairview Park and August Live at the Docklands gigs, the artist is set to perform with a live band.

The tracklist will feature songs from a variety of other artists including Underworld, Faithless, The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers.

The tour, marking 30 years since Pierce began his career, will take on a live rendition of the DJ's Today FM radio show of the same name.

Block Rockin Beats blends rave and rock styles to create a unique experience.

“The show is all about energy—it’s a concert, but we want you to lose yourself for a few hours," said Pierce.

"We want you to go back in time to experience these classic anthems with a full live band. It’s a unique music and visual experience. Honestly, it’s the most fun I’ve ever had on stage. The crowds we get at our shows come out for a party! When our energy matches the energy in the crowd… it’s a really special thing!”
