David O'Doherty to play Whelans

David O'Doherty has announced via his myspace that he will be playing Whelan's on Sunday June 28.

Doors are open at 8pm and it's a fiver at the door.

Hello there

I, David O'Doherty, the Ryanair James Bond, the winner of the Nobel prize for Cutest Butt hereby announce that I am doing a work in progress try out show in Whelan’s this Sunday night (June 28) at 8pm. It is 5euro in. I would have written that in the more conventional way, with the euro symbol before the 5, but I don't know how to make my computer do the euro symbol. It is there, above the 2 digit, beside the @, and I have tried most combinations of buttons, but I can't make it euro.

So we shall have a competition. If you know how to make the euro symbol appear you will be entered into a draw for free tickets. I mean it's only a fiver in, but Alastair who works in Whelan’s reckons a competition is the way to go as we only decided we'd do this gig yesterday. I think maybe he has been listening to too much daytime radio. But anyway, answer the question above and you might get a free ticket. Jesus Christ it's only 5euro in.
