David McSavage to star in Martin McDonagh's The Pillowman
Award-winning play set for Gaiety run
Theatre-goers in the capital and beyond are in for a treat this spring, as Martin McDonagh's dark comedy The Pillowman makes an eagerly anticipated appearance on Irish stages.
The Tony and Olivier award-winning play will see David McSavage assuming the lead role; he's joined in a sterling cast by Love/Hate alums Gary Lydon and Peter Campion.
The production runs in The Gaiety Theatre March 2-14, but there's a treat in store for audiences outside of the Dublin too, as previews run in Galway Town Hall Theatre from February 19, before the cast and crew pack their bags after the Dublin run for visits to Cork's Everyman Palace (March 16-21) and Belfast's Lyric Theatre (from March 23).
Tickets for each and every show are on sale right now.
