Dave Couse releases a new album
Available this Autumn
The new album by Dave Cause is finally available in record shops from October 1, after being given an online release last April.
Alonewalk is the third album to be released by Cause since the break up of A House in the early part of this decade. The music in this album is a departure from the previous sounds of The World Should Know.
Cause has received rave reviews for his earlier work, and the same can be said for the latest addition to his collection, which was mastered by Bob Ludwig.
“Dave Couse’s place in the pantheon of great Irish songwriters is assured. His first solo album in five years finds him in a mellow, introspective mood blending classical song structures with pop, post rock and even doo-wop. The songs range from the poignant, elegiac beauty of ‘what will become of us’ and ‘don’t say a word’ to the melodically quirky ‘Good Friday’ which features another singularly unique Irish voice in Cathal Coughlan.” - Colm O'Hare
