Danda Paxton Quits The Brothers Movement
Musician to concentrate on new project
Multi-instrumentalist Paxton was the main songwriter for both the Brothers Movement, and before that, Mainline (in which he was drummer).
Paxton will now concentrate on Sweet Jane, where again he provides the song writing, plays lead guitar, and shares vocals with Lydia des Dolles, a vocal partnership that has been described in the press as ‘achingly sexy’. Ruari Paxton on bass, and drummer Donagh O’Brien complete the line-up.
Sweet Jane release their debut album Sugar For My Soul on Reekus this summer, with the single 'Black Eyes' leading the way in May.
'Black Eyes' which will be available from all leading digital sites, including iTunes, on May 28 and Sweet Jane will Antics at Crawdaddy, Dublin on May 19.
The band will also perform on TG4's Imeall at 11.30 this evening (May 5).
