Damien Dempsey adds new Dublin show
Damien Dempsey has announced a second consecutive night at Vicar Street on December 18.
As previously announced on hotpress.com, Dempsey plays Vicar St on December 17, following an extensive Irish tour over the coming months.
And he's now added another Vicar Street date on the following night, December 18.
It’s sure to be a great night for the singer, who has turned in a series of superb performances at the venue over the past couple of years.
Dempsey is currently touring his fifth album, Rocky Road, a collection of traditional songs and modern classics that went straight to number one in the Irish charts.
Recent times have found him touring the US and supporting Sinead O’Connor in Australia, so he is sure to have decisively hit his touring stride by the time the Vicar Street dates roll around.
Tickets for the show on the 18th go on sale on Friday through Ticketmaster and the usual outlets nationwide.
