Conor Oberst announces solo album
Ruminations stems from a two-day winter stay in Omaha, Nebraska
Conor Oberst has performed in several bands under many monikers, perhaps most notably with Bright Eyes, but he's also given us several albums under his own name. And another one is on the way!
Ruminations is described as a "raw, unadorned" album that Oberst recorded alone in just two days. The record happened spontaneously during a solitary winter stay in Omaha, Nebraska.
Last year, Oberst released Payola with Desaparecidos. In 2014, he released Upside Down Mountain under his name.
Nonesuch Records will put out the record October 14.
