The latest teenage sensation is a palatable punk princess, a pretty but surly adolecent in skater gear offering the perfect way in for kids who need to bridge the gap between Britney and nu-metal. Capable of penning a catchy tune, championing individualism and causing havoc in the shopping mall, she reminds me of the guy from The New Radicals who now writes songs for Ronan Keating. I only hope Miss Lavigne sticks to her principles.
