Coldplay's Chris Martin joins Kings of Leon on stage at Radio One's One Big Weekend

After headlining the first night of BBC Radio One's One Big Weekend in Glasgow on Saturday, Coldplay's Chris Martin hung around and joined Sunday performers Kings of Leon.

"We finally have someone famous in our band," said Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill as martin exited the stage.

Coldplay's performance in Glasgow comes as the band enjoys global success for their latest album Ghost Stories, which hit number one in 72 countries including Ireland.

While the band has hinted at some summer Irish dates, nothing has been confirmed yet.
