Coldplay debut at the top of the Irish album chart
Noel Gallagher's remains at No. 1 over on the Indie Chart.
Coldplay's oddly-named fifth album Mylo Xyloto enters the Irish Album Chart at No. 1 this week. Just below, we have another new entry with Michael Buble's Christmas (in October). It means that last week's No. 1, Noel Gallagher tumbles to the third spot. Occupying fourth position is Adele's 21 which is slowly moving down the listings after 40 weeks in the chart.
Just released, Tom Waits Bad As Me rounds off the top five. Click here for the full chart.
Over on the Indie side of things, the current Hot Press cover star and former Oasis man is still sitting pretty at No. 1 with his High Flying Birds, following on from a fantastic set in Dublin's Olympia Theatre (the first show of his European tour) and news that he will be returning to play the O2 in February. Adele's 21 is No. 2, whilst her debut album is at No. 5. Sandwiched in between we have Mr. Waits in third and Lisa Hannigan's Passenger at fourth.
