CMAT announces biggest Irish headline shows to date for Dublin and Cork
Tickets go on sale next week
Following her massive All Together Now set – as part of a landmark festival season that also saw her play Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage – CMAT has announced her biggest Irish headline shows to date, scheduled for 2026. She and her Very Sexy CMAT Band will play St Anne's Park in Dublin on May 30, and Virgin Media Park in Cork on June 20.
The gigs were announced this morning as part of a run of Irish and UK dates – including shows in Edinburgh, Brighton, Manchester and London.
These shows will following a run of already sold-out dates, including a headliner at Dublin's 3Arena (December 5).
The announcement comes just ahead of the release of CMAT's eagerly awaited third album, EURO-COUNTRY (out August 29)– which features the acclaimed singles 'Running/Planning', 'The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station', 'Take A Sexy Picture Of Me', and the powerful title track.
“EURO-COUNTRY is, I think, the best thing I have ever made," she says of the album. "I felt halfway through recording it was the most important record I’ve made for myself… mainly because it was making me go crazy.
“I'm always going to make the work I want to make, because there is a little gremlin in my head that tells me if it’s shit. More than success, there’s a bigger gremlin that wants me to make music that’s really good. She’s brutal and has ruined my life at times, but she is the keeper of my life and she’s always right.”
Tickets for the newly announced Irish dates go on general sale on Thursday, August 28, at 10am. Presale kicks off on Tuesday, August 26. Tickets for Dublin and Cork: €59.90 and €69.90 (subject to service charge).
