Cloud Contol make Irish headline debut
Tipped Aussie group land here in April
The hottest new thing to come from Down Under, indie-psychedelic-folk hotch-potch Cloud Control hit the Academy on April 7 for their first headline gig on these shores. The band played support for fellow Aussie's The Temper Trap at their Irish shows last year and having conquered the southern hemisphere with their debut album, aptly titled Bliss Rlease, the group have their sights set on this side of the world with support slots lined up this spring with Mona, Noah and the Whale and The Naked and Famous when they hit the Button Factory here in March. Tickets are on sale now from €13.50.
The album is out here in May and the opening track and newest single 'Meditation Song#2' is everything you'd expect to hear from a record named Bliss Release
