Ciaran Lavery plots Irish tour + shares new video
The Antrim troubadour reveals the promo for 'Okkervil River' and confirms five dates around the country
HP fave Ciaran Lavery has sprung up with a double-whammy of good news this Wednesday, premiering a new video while announcing an Irish tour for October.
Confirmation of the five night jaunt that will see him hit Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, Kilkenny and Galway came as he also unveiled the video for 'Okkervil River', one of the standout tracks from his Let Bad In LP. Catching the ear of the titular Texans since its release, it showcases the unique voice and unorthodox songwriting which saw the troubadour crowned the winner of Hot Press' Big Break competition last year.
It's sure to feature prominently when the talented Antrim man hits the dusty trail in the autumn; dates for the tour are below.
October 5: DUBLIN - THE SUGAR CLUB
October 6: DUNDALK - SPIRIT STORE
October 7: CORK - CYPRUS AVENUE
October 8: KILKENNY - CLEERE’S
October 9: GALWAY - ROISIN DUBH
