Choice Music Prize Irish Album of the Year shortlist announced
The winning album will be revealed at the live event in Vicar Street.
The nominees for Irish Album of the Year at the upcoming Choice Music Prize has been revealed.
The shortlist was announced today by Beta Da Silva on 2FM Afternoon with Tracy Clifford.
This year's 10 nominees for the prestigious prize include:
- Amble – Reverie
- Bricknasty – Black’s Law
- Joshua Burnside – Teeth of Time
- CMAT – EURO-COUNTRY
- Dove Ellis – Blizzard
- Junior Brother – The End
- Just Mustard – WE WERE JUST HERE
- pôt-pot – Warsaw 480km
- Maria Somerville – Luster
- SPRINTS – All That Is Over
Tickets are on sale now for the live prize ceremony, taking place at Vicar Street in Dublin on March 5.
The Irish Album of the Year award is chosen by a panel of 11 Irish music media professionals and industry experts.
The winning Album of the Year act will receive €10,000, a prize fund which has been provided by The Irish Music Rights Organization (IMRO) and The Irish Recorded Music Association (IRMA). All shortlisted acts will receive a specially commissioned award.
Other categories in this year's Choice Music Prize include Irish Song of the Year, Irish Artist of the Year, Irish Breakthrough Artist and Classic Irish Album.

CMAT's EURO-COUNTRY was named Hot Press's No.1 Album of 2025 – with another nominated album, Junior Brother's The End, also scoring a spot in the Top 5.
