Children's Charity benefit in Whelans
Von Shakes and many more will play in November
A Children's 'Home For Hope' Benefit Night will be held in Whelans in Dublin on November 9.
Von Shakes will be headliners on the night, joined by the likes of Jupe, Cream Cassino, Emma Fitzsimons and many more.
Established by Richard and Eleanor Brook, The Home Of Hope is a South African initiative that aims to provide a safe house for children children caught up in deplorable circumstances - neglected, abused, infected with HIV and AIDS or simply abandoned. Dubliner Susie Roddy spent six life-changing months caring for children there and has decided to put on a benefit night to raise proceeds for this worthwhile, completely voluntary cause.
The event is set for 8pm on Tuesday November 9 in Whelans.
