C. O’Neill & Co. open with Academy Show

C. O’Neill & Co, the Cavan based folk-influenced rockers have announced a series of dates for June. The band, who released their debut album Introducing earlier this year, open the run of gigs with a May headlining appearance at The Academy in Dublin, with that show scheduled for this coming Friday, May 25.

They are about to release their third single 'June Madness' – a fitting seasonal offering which should get plenty of attention from radio stations all over the country. Among the highlights of the album is a superb collaboration with Fearghal McKee of Whipping Boy, 'Look Da No Hands' (see video below). C. O’Neill & Co. have previously supported The Saw Doctors and Big Country among other headlining acts, but this tour will see them upping their game impressively, confirming their status as ones to watch.

Catch them in The Academy, Dublin (May 25), Crane Lane Theatre, Cork (6), Monroes, Galway (7), The Brewery, Monaghan (9), Mc Garrigle's, Sligo (16) and Cleere's, Kilkenny (23).
