Bruno Mars bumps Rihanna off the top of the UK Album Chart
His Doo Wops & Hooligans is the highest new entry this week
After ten weeks on the chart, and having set several new records, Rihanna’s Loud is finally knocked off its perch this week. She drops down to No. 2 – whilst R&B man-of-the-moment Bruno Mars is No. 1.
Mars has had quite the start to 2011 – he currently sits at the top of the Irish Album Chart as well, was recently nominated for a BRIT Award and sold-out his Olympia show in a staggering eight minutes. Hot Press interviewees White Lies see their second album debut at No 2, while Plan B slips down to No. 4 and Ellie Goulding’s Lights completes the top 5.
