BriBry triumph at O2 Battle Of The Bands
The young singer-songwriter will now play alongside the likes of Westlife, Royseven and The Kanyu Tree in Dublin's O2.
It’s “congratulations!” to BriBry who’s been announced as the winner of the Play At The O2 ‘Battle of the Bands’ competition.
Having received the nod from some of the music industry’s biggest names – Sony Music Ireland’s Annette Donnelly, The Independent’s John Meagher, Royseven’s Paul Walsh, FM104’s Dave Kelly and Westlife’s Nicky Byrne – the 21-year-old Artist Also Known As Brian Reilly will get to play the O2 Smartsounds gig in Dublin's O2 on November 24.
They join a bill that includes Westlife, Pixie Lott, Royseven and The Kanyu Tree. Not only that, but the panda hat-wearing Hot Press ‘Hot For 2011’ tip will receive their own backstage dressing-room, a professional video of their performance, an EP that’ll be available through the O2 WAP music store, a gold disc winner’s trophy and online media coverage. Phew!
