Brendan O'Carroll stages RTE Radio 1 takeover

As Ireland awaits the release of Mrs. Brown’s Boys D’Movie, star and creator Brendan O'Carroll will be taking over RTE Radio 1 duties from Marian Finucane, putting a spin on the usual weekend fare in a way that only Brendan O'Carroll can do.

This is far from the first foray into the world of radio by what many consider to be the Irish answer to Tyler Perry. O'Carroll has also been a frequent guest on the Funny Friday programme and has stood in for Joe Duffy as presenter of the monthly live comedy show.
