Killer-in-chief will unleash The Desired Effect in May

Almost five years after his first full-length solo effort, Flamingo, Brandon Flowers has announced the release date for his second LP.
The Desired Effect - produced by Ariel Rechtshaid (he of Haim, Vampire Weekend and Charlie XCX fame) - will arrive on May 15, with single 'Can't Deny My Love' due later this month.
