Boyzone confirm concert date at the O2, Dublin
Boyzone have confirmed a return Dublin date. They will play the new O2, Dublin – formerly The Point Theatre – next May.
Boyzone play the O2, Dublin on May 26, 2009 as part of their Better 09 Tour.
Tickets for the concert priced from €49.20 including booking fee will go on sale on Friday 26 September from Ticketmaster and usual outlets nationwide.
The concert will see all five original members - Ronan Keating, Stephen Gately, Shane Lynch, Mikey Graham and Keith Duffy – perform their first indoor Dublin concert since January 13, 2000.
Formed in 1994, Boyzone achieved the best-ever start to an Irish and UK singles career with 16 consecutive Top 5 hits. Having scored 6 UK No. 1 singles, plus 4 No. 1 albums, their total album sales tally exceeds 15 million, making them one of the Ireland's best-selling bands of all time.
After performing on BBC Children In Need 2007 the band announced that they were getting back together and would tour in 2008. They undertook a hugely successfully Irish and UK tour including a concert at Dublin's RDS Arena on Saturday 28 June.
Boyzone will release their new single 'Love You Anyway' on Friday September 26, and Back Again No Matter What – The Greatest Hits album on October 10.
