‘Boybands Are Runts’

Receiving a wave of publicity through Ryan Tubridy’s breakfast radio show, The Camembert Quartet are a refreshingly original novelty band. Over a backdrop of cabaret and jazz, they take often hilarious swipes at boy bands on the lead track as well as a scathing attack on students. Best of all though is ‘California Dublin 4’ a great piss take on The Thrills ‘Big Sur.’ As with all novelty songs it grates after a while, but good fun nonetheless.
