Bon Jovi cancel China shows for 'unforeseen reasons'

Bon Jovi have been forced to cancel what would have been their first shows in China, due to what promoters have called 'unforeseen circumstances'.
In the wake of other recently-cancelled shows - including a Maroon 5 concert earlier this summer - some have claimed that it is down to the band performing in front of an image of the Dalai Lama in the past.
A tweet by one of Maroon 5's members on the birthday of the Tibetan spiritual leader had been identified as the cause of their show's cancellation.
The lead up to the gigs had even seen frontman Jon Bon Jovi performing a love song in Mardarin for Valentine's Day, and fans of the New Jersey rockers have been taking to Weibo - the Chinese equivalent of Twitter - to voice their outrage at the shows' cancellation.
