Blondshell announces new album, Violins and releases title track
The album is set to release on September 25.
Blondshell has announced her third studio album, Violins, due for release on September 25 via Partisan Records.
Alongside the announcement, the American indie-pop singer released the album's title track with an accompanying video. The video was directed by Sabra Binder, whose previous work includes visuals for Suki Waterhouse and Willow.
Blondshell explained how the title track "sums up the album in a lot of ways."
"When I was writing I felt really drawn to images of patience and kindness... alongside images of violence," she said.
"I was also inspired by the idea of healing slowly and refusing to be rushed by any outside force."

The 11-track album follows 2023's self-titled debut and 2025's If You Asked for a Picture.
Blondshell, real name Sabrina Teitelbaum, grew up in New York before moving to Los Angeles to study music in 2015.
Before going by Blondshell with the release of 2023 single 'Olympus', Teitelbaum released pop music under the name BAUM for several years.
The announcement follows last month's release of lead single 'Heart Has To Work So Hard', Blondshell's first new music since If You Asked for a Picture and its companion release Another Picture.
In support of the album, Blondshell will embark on a North American, UK and European headline tour later this year, including a Dublin date on December 17 at The Academy.
Violins is available to pre-order here.
