Birdy knocks Lorde off the Irish Singles Chart summit

She wowed the Late Late Show last Friday night and now Hampshire-based teen claims the Irish Singles Chart crown as 'Wings' flies up five places to depose last week's champion, Lorde.

The New Zealander's winsome 'Royals' falls just one spot, occupying second place. Dublin troubadour Hozier climbs to #3 with 'Take Me To Church' while OneRepublic also move up one with 'Counting Stars' as Miley Cyrus' grip on the charts loosens slightly as 'Wrecking Ball' drops to fifth position.
