Billy Talbot of Neil Young & Crazy Horse suffers stroke
Talbot is expected to make full recovery but will miss rest of European tour.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse's bassist Billy Talbot suffered a stroke and will be forced to pull out of the band's European tour, including a stop at Cork's Marquee. Talbot was a founding member of Crazy Horse and has played with band since the early '60s both with and without Young.
Talbot will be replaced in the tour with Rick Rosas, who has been a constant presence in Young's various bands throughout the years, serving as a member in Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. The band has also added vocalists Dorene Carter and YaDonna West of Mahogany Blue for the remainder of the tour.
Neil Young & Crazy Horse will be making their only Irish stop at Cork's Marquee on July 10.
