Benjamin Francis Leftwich for Irish tour
July dates for indie maestro
Following his recent performance in the intimate surroundings of The Academy 2, it would appear that singer-songwriter supremo Benjamin Francis Leftwich has developed a taste for all things Irish as he is set to return to our shores with a six-date tour that will see him take in the length and breadth of the country.
The talented 21-year-old Yorkshire resident has drawn comparisons to Elliot Smith with his soulful stylings and will kick off his tour on July 15 in The Sugar Club as support to Liam Finn. From there he will travel to Cork, Galway and Limerick before returning to Dublin and finally finishing off in Belfast. His much-anticipated debut album Last Smoke Before The Snowstorm is set for release on July 4.
Those tour dates in full:
July 15: The Sugar Club (supporting Liam Finn)
July 16: Cyprus Avenue, Cork
July 17: Roisin Dubh, Galway
July 18: Dolan's Upstairs, Limerick
July 20: Whelan's (upstairs)
July 21: McHughs, Belfast
