Bellowhead Confirm Split
12 years ago since their first gig in Oxford Town Hall Bellowhead announce split and farewell tour
The 11-piece troop announced last night on Twitter that they were calling it a day. The planned farewell tour will take place in two parts- November 2015 and April 2016. In a fitting tribute to their first concert as a group, Bellowhead will play their last concert on May Day 2016 in the same venue in which they began.
With lead singer Jon Boden deciding to call time on his days in the band, the remaining band members decided to disband not wishing "to continue without him"
Having sold out The Royal Albert Hall and Manchester's Bridgewater Theatre last year, ticket sales for the band's final tour are expected to be high.
Tour Dates are to be announced tomorrow June 5.
