Ardmore Studios hosts Skyfall creators

It was revealed by IFTN earlier this week that the creators of Skyfall will be filming their new TV series in Ardmore Studios.

Josh Hartnett and Eva Green will star in the eight part TV series, with filming taking place from October 7 until March 2014.

Penny Dreadful will focus on some of horror literature's most infamous characters including Frankenstein, Dorian Gray and Count Dracula.

The TV series marks the second major collaboration between Skyfall creators, John Logan and Sam Mendes.

A number of sections from The Tudors, winner of 16 IFTA awards, was also filmed in Ardmore Studios.

After the roaring success of Skyfall, Mendes and Logan are teaming up again to work on the 24th Bond installment, due for release in 2015.
