Arctic Monkeys retain top spot on Irish Album Chart
The Strypes spend their second week at No. 2.
Little change at the business end of the Irish Album Chart today, as the Arctic Monkeys' AM sits in pole position for the second week in a row.
They're followed by two Irish acts. The Strypes debut Snapshot is still No. 2, whilst Kodaline's debut In A Perfect World – a former chart-topper – continues to do strong business at No. 3.
Two new entries do round off the Top 5, however. Having dominated the Singles Chart this summer with 'Wake Me Up', rising Swedish dance superstar Avicii finds his debut album True at No. 4.
Manic Street Preachers also chart high, as the returning Welsh wizards' Rewind The Film debuts at No. 5.
One Direction's two studio albums to date occupy the sixth and seventh spots, with Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Lana Del Rey completing the Top 10.
